2012 NFL Mock Draft 1-10

1. Indianapolis Colts- Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford

Most people have Andrew Luck as a lock at the number one spot, but with RGIII on the rise don’t be surprised if he goes ahead of Luck.

2. St. Louis Rams- Matt Kalil, OT, USC

If the Rams want to have any success in 2012 they’re going to need to keep Sam Bradford upright. The 6’7 295 pound- Khalil  should have no problem keeping Sam Bradford off his back.

3. Minnesota Vikings- Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State

Honestly, I don’t think the Vikings should draft Blackmon here. If they’re looking for a dominant receiver, which they are, I would take Alshon Jeffery. Blackmon may have been the more dominant player in college, but Jeffery has more NFL potential.

4. Cleveland Browns- Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor

After watching Colt McCoy for the last couple of years, it’s clear he is not the answer in Cleveland. The Browns can’t pass up the opportunity to draft their franchise quarterback, in RGIII.

5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama

The Bucs do have LeGarrette  Blount, but Blount has not been able to stay on the field, due to injuries. The Buccaneers will take Trent Richardson, BUT I think Richardson has the possibility to have that “Bust Factor”.

6. Washington Redskins- Ryan Tannehill , QB, Texas A&M

It seems like the Redskins are always looking for a quarterback when it comes to draft day, and with Luck and Griffin already off the board the Skins will take the next best option, in Tannehill. Although this is way to high to draft Tannehill, I wouldn’t be surprised if the Redskins took him.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars- Luke Kuechly , ILB, Boston College

The Jaguars have so many holes, they are the hardest team to predict. Drafting Kuechly would be a “Best Player Available” pick.

8. Carolina Panthers- Alshon Jeffery, WR, South Carolina

Being a Gamecock fan I can describe Jeffery in one word “beast”. He strongly resembles Calvin Johnson, and possesses an amazing ability to go up and get the ball. The old SEC rivals, Newton and Jeffery, would make an amazing combination, and could possibly take the Panthers offense to the next level.

9. Miami Dolphins- Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa

It appears the Dolphins have found a decent quarterback, in Matt Moore. With that said, they will probably look to improve the offensive line, the worst part of the team.

10. Buffalo Bills- Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU

The Bills secondary was horrendous last season. Claiborne to could provide a solid upgrade, and help slow down Tom Brady and the Pats air attack.
